Ok so. Wow. That was freaking fun.
(Sorry for the lack of detail, it's only been a week but I've been beyond swamped lately. x__x)

NEW ENGLAND FAN EXPERIENCE PRESENTS ANIME KAIJU
DA DA DAHHHHHH

Friday-
Camera died within first five minutes of being on. xD ~philterX took some pictures though. I think.

When we got there there was a panel featuring three members of Mass Steam, a steampunk group (their LJ= [link])
They have my approval. That panel was cool.

There was a table that was set up by the Repo (Long Island) shadowcast, but by the time we got out of the steampunk panel it was gone D':

We also missed the shadowcast. Ah well. It was too late at night anyways. =S

Saturday-
-insert long story about how you should never procrastinate on making cosplays here-
Anyways.

We got there much later then originally planned, what with the above and a stop at Subway that was not worth the time it took to get through the line (damn you, Subway XD)

By some magical random compulsion I'd brought my Fullmetal Alchemist soundtrack, and we just-so-happened to walk in when Aaron Dismuke (voice actor for Al in the FMA dub) was signing stuff. And there was no line. Win.
And then after that, Sonny Strait ( AKA the voice of Hughes in the FMA dub) was
in the artist's alley/dealers room signing copies of his comic. So I bought one. It's pretty funny xD When he signed mine he drew Hughes holding a picture of Elicia (his daughter) saying "Isn't she CUTE?" -would post picture but is lazy-

And then when he signed my FMA soundtrack (which has Roy on the cover) next to his sig he draws an arrow to Roy and writes "GET YOURSELF A WIFE!" lmao I wish we could have gone to his panel with Aaron.

Other events of that day included two panels with Sig Narged [link] books! and Pocky!) yeah he's hysterical.

Also lots of dealers room action. I'll talk about that now.

-Sunday-
As I said, lots of fun dealers room stuff. Bettina Kurkoski (the author of My Cat Loki) signed a copy of one of her books for me. She also had awesome buttons. We went to her panel on My Cat Loki later on, it was fun

SIDE NOTE!: You guys know that show I Survived a Japanese Game Show? Remember Dan? I know him! XDXD

Other stuff I bought:
Steampunk goggles (which I wear often. I might have to save up for some more since they're so appealing :3)
Fake bread bun that looks and feels totally real. (It smells like chocolate!)
Awesome vodo-samurai keychain, WHICH I LOST YESTERDAY NUUUUU *singletear*
Steampunk pin/chain with clock parts on it (bought it from Rachael Botticelli, who was dressed as Amber Sweet! I love this world. x3
Purple wrist warmers The people from Mass Steam were selling some awesome stuff! They even had these 'bonsai trees' made out of wire and clock parts, win.

~philterX and I also attack-hugged (long story) a guy who we later figured out was Locke from The Vagabonds [link]

Alright, I'm going to end the recap now. I've been working on this for like an hour XD

WARNING: This update will contain moaning.

I signed myself up for tech crew for the fall play at our school since I've never been involved with theater. Ok, I did not realize how much time is put in to doing an hour long four-part play. I seriously respect the people who do this for a living. I mean, I'm used to getting yelled at for doing stupid things. Occasionally. But I was literally blamed for everything that went wrong backstage. (Well...I probably wasn't. But it seemed that way.) Plus our stupid headset didn't work so it was really hard to communicate. The actors must really not like me after how many times I yelled at them XD Hey, I needed some way to let out my frustration.
Lesson learned: Be nice to techies and do what they say. And get more sleep. And learn time management. Fast.

So yeah. I haven't gotten a decent amount of sleep since like...the beginning of November.
I'm soo glad it's a short week at school. Happy Thanksgiving guys!
